Welcome to J. J. Keller's MVR Monitoring service! After you have gone through your implementation, following these steps will ensure a smooth experience with the program.
1. Ensure all drivers have legal name (as listed on the driver's license), date of birth (DOB), social security (SSN), License #, and state of license populated in Encompass
-
See Adding/Editing Employees for more information
-
Note: It is very important to ensure all entered information is accurate for your drivers. If the MVR request is rejected by the state due to incorrect information submitted, charges may be incurred and you will be responsible for payment of those charges.
-
It is also best practice to Terminate any drivers who are no longer with the company. This will help to ensure you don't order an MVR for someone no longer working for you.
2. Obtain signed Acknowledgement and Authorization/Driver Release Form. You may also want to provide your drivers with a Summary of Rights.
- J. J. Keller provides samples (linked above) of the Driver Release and Summary of Rights.
-
These sample documents should not be construed as legal advice, guidance, or counsel. This is a good place to start but you should consult your own Legal team about your compliance responsibilities under the FCRA and applicable state law.
3. Upload the signed Driver Release to Encompass
-
In Encompass, go to Drivers > Driver Qualification > select Driver > scroll to Maintenance Checklist section > Attach to MVR Release checklist item
-
See Upload MVR Release to Encompass for more information
-
4. After uploading the driver's MVR Release in Encompass, you will be prompted to certify the following information to Enroll the driver:
