Profile Information

This article outlines how Profile Information in Encompass® defines the features a Driver can access on the mobile app and what data flows to the back office. The Rule Type indicates whether the Driver follows Company Rules or an individualized Employee Rule. The Driver Management Profile controls which mobile features the Driver can use, while the Data Profile determines the information transmitted from the ELD to the Encompass back office. These settings ensure proper access and data management for both the Driver and administrative teams.

Rule Type: This will either be set to the Company Name, or, Employee Rule.  If it has the company name, this driver is following the rules set forth within Setup > Company Level Listing > Edit Rules.  If this is set to Employee Rule, then there was an individual rule changed on this drivers profile and they are now following their own unique rules.
