License and Social Security Number Masking
This article explains that Driver License and Social Security Numbers entered in Encompass are partially masked to protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII), retaining only the last few digits. This masking is in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Full values can still be accessed through specific forms and reports, including Employment Applications, Medical Exam Reports, Motor Vehicle Compliance Forms, and the Request for Motor Vehicle Report. Additionally, the full information can be retrieved by exporting data from Encompass, ensuring authorized users can access necessary records while maintaining PII protection.
Notice that when the License Information or Social Security Number is saved, most of the number is masked saving the last few digits.

The system does this to protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). The full number can still be obtained and is still shown on certain reports, however. The following Reports and Forms will offer the option of printing the full values:
