Save Roster Filters View

VideoProtects® allows users to apply Filters to Rosters or Tables and save those Views for quick access each time they log in. For example, an Admin can filter Video Events by specific Drivers and save that View to monitor them regularly. Once saved, the filtered View automatically displays on the Roster, but users can reset the View at any time to return to the system default. This feature streamlines monitoring and ensures quick access to relevant data.

The example below will walk through saving a view/filters for the following scenario:
An admin wants to view/monitor video events for drivers Mike and Nathan for the week.

Set Filters

First, you need to set the desired filters. In this example, we will save a view on the Video Events roster. We want to see video events that are triggered for Mike and Nathan; therefore, in the Driver filter dropdown, select their names, and then click Apply.

The roster/table will update to display data for just Mike and Nathan. Apply other filters as desired.

Save View

Once all filters have been set, click Save View near the upper right of the table

A success message will display at the bottom of the screen.

Next time you log in and visit the Video Events roster, this Saved View will automatically display in the roster/table.

Reset View

To reset all filters to the system default (meaning no filters are set, and all video events from the last 30 days will display), click the Reset View button.
