Asset Tracking Hardware Activation & Installation - AT100
What's In the Box?
When the Asset Tracker ships, the box will contain the items listed below.

Hardware Activation
1. Separate the magnetic mounts from each other. Remove and discard the white plastic shipping spacer that may be sandwiched between the magnets.
2. To activate the asset tracker, hold a single magnet against the triangle symbol on the side of the device for 10 seconds, ensuring the countersunk holes are facing down against the tracker (see images).
Note: The tracker does not provide an external indication of activation. Please check Encompass to confirm successful activation.
Magnetic Mount Installation
Position the magnets so they align with the four holes on the bottom of the asset tracker. Make sure the magnets are placed with the countersunk holes facing outward (toward you).
Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, fasten the included mounting screws through the four countersunk holes to secure the magnets to the asset tracker.
Screw Mount Installation
Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, mount the asset tracker to your equipment by driving the included wood screws or self-tapping screws through the gold grommets on the tracker.
Note: An installation template is provided to assist with marking and drilling the holes. only the two holes indicated on the template apply.
