Saving and Resuming an Online Application
This article explains how Applicants can save and resume their Encompass Online Application if they are unable to complete it in a single session. After completing all required fields on the first page, Applicants can click “Save Application,” which generates a Username and PIN needed to resume later. Applications that remain inactive for 30 days are deleted, and the PIN must be securely stored as it cannot be recovered. To continue, Applicants select “Resume Saved Application” on the landing page, enter their credentials, and the Application will reopen with previously entered data pre-filled. This functionality allows Applicants flexibility while ensuring data continuity throughout the Application Process.
Save Application to Continue Later
Once at least the entirety of the first page of the application is completed, and all Required fields on the current page the Applicant is on are completed, the Applicant will be able to Save the application in case they need to exit and resume filling it out later.
Once Save Application is clicked, a pop-up will appear with important information the Applicant will need in order to resume the application later.
- The Username & PIN will need to be entered when resuming the application
- The PIN cannot be recovered. Store this PIN securely.
- If there hasn't been activity on the application for 30 days, it will be deleted.
Resuming the Application
When an Applicant saves and returns to the application to continue filling it out, they will click Resume Saved Application on the Application Landing Page.
The Applicant will enter the Username and PIN provided to them upon initially saving the application.
When the Applicant successfully enters their credentials and selects Resume Application, they will be taken to the first page of the application, with all the saved data pre-filled. The application can be saved multiple times; the Applicant will just need to enter the same credentials each time they want to resume the application.
