Driver Qualification Rules
This article explains how to configure Driver Qualification (DQ) file alerts in Encompass. Checking the “Is required to meet DOT qualifications?” box ensures that Administrators and users are notified of any items in an employee’s DQ file that require attention. Additional checkboxes can be selected to track Safety Performance History for specific items within the DQ file. While leaving these boxes unchecked does not prevent reporting, enabling them helps maintain compliance and ensures timely awareness of critical Driver qualifications. This setup is essential for monitoring employee compliance with DOT requirements and internal safety standards.
