Reset a VR Temporary Passcode

This guidance pertains to those who utilize the Virtual Reality service.

The temporary passcode required to log into the PixoHub App for an assigned VR course can be found in the email sent to the learner upon enrollment. That code will expire after 24 hours. If needed, the temporary passcode for VR training courses can be reset by the learner, or by the training coordinator.

(!) The Pixo Hub app will require a new passcode for each session within a headset. If a headset is removed by a learner mid-session, the learner will need a new passcode generated.

By the Learner

The learner can log into their Learning Center account and generate a new passcode on their own. They will select VR Passcode in the column on the left and then click the Generate Passcode button.

By the Training Coordinator in TMC

The training coordinator can see when a previously-sent passcode will expire or has expired, and also generate a new passcode. First go to Learners > Manage Learners. Then, locate the learner in question and click on their name to open their profile.

If the passcode has expired, click the Generate VR Passcode button to create a new code to share with the learner. If the passcode has not expired and needs to be shared with the learner, the training coordinator can see the current passcode in the VR Passcode line (orange arrow below).
