Data Search
Overview
The Data Search feature in FleetMentor allows you to quickly find and locate your own data within the system. This feature is designed for searching information you have entered into FleetMentor, such as Driver, Vehicle, and Accident Records. It is not intended for regulatory or reference information—those searches should still be performed in the Reference Hub.
How to use Data Search
Accessing Data Search
- A Search icon will appear next to your initial badge in FleetMentor.
- Click the Search icon to open the Data Search prompt.

Entering a Search Term
- In the prompt, type the term you want to search for (e.g., a Driver’s Name, Vehicle, or Accident Detail).
- If you are looking for regulatory information, use the provided link to go directly to Reference Hub.

Viewing Search Results
- The system will display all matching or closely matching records from your Driver, Vehicle, and Accident data.
- Your search term will be highlighted in the results for easy identification.
- Each result corresponds directly to the relevant Profile item (e.g., a specific Driver or Vehicle).

Accessing & Editing Records
- Click on any result to directly access the associated Profile.
- You can view, edit, or update the information as needed.
Dynamic Updates
- Any changes you make to a record (such as updating a Driver’s Name) are immediately searchable.
- For example, if you change a Driver’s Name from “Scar Clark” to “Scarlet Clark,” searching for “Scar” will now show “Scarlet Clark” in the results.

- Purpose: Data Search is strictly for searching your own data in FleetMentor.
- Scope: It covers Driver, Vehicle, and Accident Records.
