Resetting Password for a User

This article explains how Admins can send a Password Reset Email to users. From the User Permissions section, select the Edit icon next to the user’s name and click Send Password Reset under the user’s email address. This action triggers an email from no-reply@okta.com with instructions for the user to reset their password. This tool allows Admins to quickly assist users who cannot access their accounts.

 

As an Admin, you can send your Users a Password Reset Email. To do so, select the Edit icon to the right of the User’s name.

Click Send Password Reset found under the User’s Email Address.

This will trigger an email from no-reply@okta.com which will include instructions for the User to reset their password.
