Change Ruleset in Encompass® ELD
This guide should NOT be used for switching between Canadian and US rulesets (Border Crossing). Use this guide instead. The application is intended to not have a Change Ruleset button if your account has Canadian Mandate/rulesets enabled.
Changing Ruleset in the Encompass® ELD Mobile Application
From the Encompass® ELD dashboard, tap the menu in the upper right and select System Menu.

About the Employee Rules screen: The Ruleset is the only item that can be changed on this page. If there are items on this page that need to be changed, your Administrator would need to make these changes within Encompass.
Locate and tap on the Change Ruleset button.

On Android™, tap Change Ruleset at the bottom (you may need to scroll down). |
On iPhone/iPad, tap the square+arrow button in the top right corner. Then, select Change Ruleset. |
The new ruleset can be selected for the entire log, or to only apply for duty statuses going forward. Select the needed ruleset and press OK to save.

Tap on a ruleset to select it. |
After pressing OK, the user will be returned to the Encompass® ELD dashboard, and their new ruleset will be reflected next to their duty status.
