Add Transaction
To navigate to the Titling section in Encompass, click on Vehicles > Titling.
A list of your units will populate. Click the Unit Code next to the desired unit to open its Title, License & Registration file.
Adding a Titling Transaction
Click Add New in the Transactions section.
Prior to adding a transaction, you will want to make sure the unit is assigned a title state. Overall, it is recommended that you enter as much detailed information as possible when you are initially adding a Unit/Vehicle to your system (ie. unit type, Powered Unit Info, etc.).
Enter in the transaction information.
- Transaction Type
- Transaction ID
- You can Generate an ID, or enter in a unique ID. The Generated ID is formatted to include the date the transaction was entered into your system, all the way to the time it was generated.
- Date of Transaction
- Click Save to finish or Save & Add New to add another transaction.
Transaction Information
After saving the transaction, it will show in the Transactions section. Hover over the transaction to edit, attach, or delete.
Registration Checklist
All of the checklist items associated with the Transactions will also populate in the Registration Checklist section. (You can note which checklist items are associated with which Transaction by matching the Transaction ID numbers.
From here, you can edit/complete checklist items in a variety of ways:
1. Individually from the Registration Checklist section. Hover over the specific item line and click the pencil icon to Edit.
2. Update all of the items at once by clicking Edit All in the Registration Checklist section. Here you can update the date and status for any checklist items necessary.
3. Edit the items via the Transaction edit function. Hover over the specific transaction and click the pencil icon to Edit.
