Border Crossing
This article explains how to use the Border Crossing function in Encompass® ELD to switch between U.S. and Canadian rulesets. This feature is available only if Canadian rulesets are enabled for the company, and Drivers should contact their Administrator or J. J. Keller Support if the option is not visible. From the Encompass® ELD Dashboard, Drivers can access the Border Crossing or Change Operating Zone menu, select the new ruleset, adjust the crossing time if necessary, and confirm the change. The updated ruleset will display on the Dashboard, and drivers must acknowledge the new limits when switching into U.S. rulesets.
Note: This option is only available if any Canadian rulesets have been enabled in Encompass. Drivers: Contact your Administrator if you are not seeing this option. Administrators: See Company Settings and Rules for more information about Rulesets. If Canadian rulesets aren't available for your company, please contact support: support@jjkeller.com or 1-800-327-1342.
From the Encompass® ELD dashboard, tap the Menu in the upper right and select Border Crossing.
