NEW USER INTERFACE
OLD USER INTERFACE |
Video Channels | The new interface has been repurposed to support displaying events from cameras with 4 channel configurations (channels 1, 2, 3, and 4 enabled or channels 1, 2, and 3 enabled). |
Speed Limit Violation Event |
Processing speeding events have been implemented. When viewing the Video Event Details page for speeding events, the recognized posted speed limit sign used in detection of those events will be displayed. The posted speed limit will be shown in kilometers or miles per hour according to the company’s settings. Cameras will require a firmware update to use this feature. Camera settings will need to be adjusted to ensure excessive speeding events are not generating because of the low default settings. |
Driver View Obstructed Events |
The Lens Covered and No Driver events have been combined and renamed Driver View Obstructed. These events will generate if a driver covers the lens or removes the camera from the windshield while the vehicle is in motion. |
Event Notifications |
Users can subscribe to a speeding event or driver view obstructed event to be notified via email or text each time one of those events is processed. |
Seatbelt Events |
Seatbelt events have been implemented to trigger video for the event. Custom seatbelt rules are now supported; for example, a custom rule can be created to trigger a Geotab seatbelt event if the driver exceeds 15mph and seatbelt not fastened. |
