Chemical Import Instructions Document

Order of Imports

Users of Chemical Center will first import Chemical Products, with details about the product and manufacturer. Users who wish to include Chemical Usage records will also need to define the Locations of the usage, which needs to exist in the Location list in Company Data.  If the locations do not yet exist, they will need to be imported separately first using the Location Import, or entered manually. Once the locations are created the user will then import Usage records, defining when and where a chemical was used.  Users can also upload and import their own SDS files if desired, as well as non-SDS file attachments.
