How to Use Non-Regulated Functionality or Yard Moves

Non-regulated driving and Yard Move functionality allows KellerMobile™ users to track their duty status without time counting towards regulated drive time. Once non-regulated driving or Yard Moves have been enabled in Encompass, the driver can select the option when changing statuses in the mobile app.

LOGGING INTO NON-REGULATED DRIVING MODE

Click on the duty status link in the green navigation bar.

Select current status. The option for non-regulated driving and/or yard move is available for the status of “On Duty-Not Driving.”  Click OK.

When in non-regulated driving or yard move, the clocks still come up when the vehicle is in motion, but the “Driving Hours Available” clock is inactive and not counting down.

A Log Remark is created on the View Log Remarks screen when the driver begins Non-Regulated Driving or Yard Movement. From the RODS screen, select View Log> View Log Remarks.
