FleetMentor Data Migration - What You Need to Know
Migration Timing & Notifications
- Customers will be notified via email in advance of their scheduled migration date.
- Migrations are staggered and completed overnight to minimize disruption.
- After migration, Customers can log into the new FleetMentor to access their data.

Retired Features
As part of the transition to the new FleetMentor platform, we’ve streamlined the system by retiring several features that showed low usage. This allows us to focus on the tools and workflows that deliver the most value to our customers.
NOTE: Data from retired features will be converted to PDFs and stored in the My Document Center.
The following features will not be available in the new FleetMentor:
- Cost of Operations
- Rates Calculator
- Loss and Damage Claims
- Insurance Policy Manager
- Cargo Securement Cards
- Salaries & Pay Packages
- Leases & Agreements
- Turnover Tracking
- Performance & Recognition Programs
Training & Support
- Community training sessions will be offered following migration.
- Guided video walkthroughs are available for key features.
- Demo videos, help articles are available from the FleetMentor Support Center and chat support is accessible on the site.
Alerts
Over the years, we heard from customers that they wanted Alerts to be more individualized to the user and not one-size-fits-all for a customer. We’ve taken this opportunity to rebuild our Alerts and Alert Settings to incorporate customer feedback.
- Alert preferences will not carry over; Critical Driver Alerts are enabled by default.
- You can customize Alert Settings after migration; a video guide to help with this process will be available at login.
Locations & Company Setup
- The new FleetMentor lets users organize records by both company structure and location.
- During migration, all Locations will be moved under a single Company.
- After migration, users can easily move Locations and add multiple Companies using the Settings in their User Profile. This process will also be covered in Community Training sessions.
- Users can easily move drivers and vehicles to the correct company—making it easier to manage multiple companies within FleetMentor.
Reports
Reporting has been improved to allow for more flexibility and ease accessing data.
- In Classic FleetMentor, reports stacked records for each entry. For example, if a driver had 10 items to report, the spreadsheet would show 10 separate lines for that driver.
- In the new FleetMentor, all items for a driver are combined into a single line. Each item is shown in its own column, making reports easier to read and analyze.
Termination Reason
Termination Reasons previously recorded under Turnover Tracking will migrate to the Employee record in new FleetMentor.
