Manually Entering a Pre-Trip DVIR

A Pre-Trip DVIR follows the same steps as entering a Post-Trip DVIR with a few exceptions.

  11. For the driver, use the eyeglass to look up the driver
  12. Enter any notes
  13. SAVE
  14. Success Message appears

If you have a defect found, the system pops in two other areas for your DVIR record:

(1) Certification of Corrections, AND
(2) Review of Corrections.
The DVIR isn't considered "complete" until these two other areas are also entered... meaning the defect was repaired and certified.
