FAQ - If I receive a DMV pull notice in lieu of an MVR..?

Question

If I receive a DMV pull notice in lieu of an MVR, will this satisfy the annual requirement?

Answer:

You'll need to review the driving record annually for each driver. An MVR lists all violations, as does your Pull Notice from the DMV, so either will suffice for the Annual Review. However, be careful not to rely on just the pull notice because it's feasible that a driver will not have a pull notice within a given year if no violations or Driver's License changes occur. Best practice is to pull MVR's annually to satisfy DOT requirements.
