FAQ - I changed a unit's unit type and items are displaying in their..?

Question

I changed a unit's unit type and items are displaying in their Pre-Service and/or unit Renewable Checklist section that are not part of their new unit type.
Why?

Answer:

If you change the Unit Type for a vehicle who has Renewable and/or Pre-Service item(s) with populated dates, those checklist items will stay there even if you assign a new Unit Type that does not have those items.

Example: You add a unit type that wasn't in the system before, set the unit type up with a different set of checklist items, and then move units to it.
