Understanding the Home Screen (AOBRD) - Vehicle Inspections

A driver can enter or change a vehicle or trailer inspection by using the Vehicle Inspection icon on the home screen.

 

Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection (DVIR)

  1. Click the Vehicle Inspection icon on the home screen.
  2. Click on New Pre-Trip Inspection.
  3. If the driver is successfully connected to the ELD, the tractor number will automatically be populated. To change the tractor number click on the Change Tractor tab in the left navigation. Select the correct tractor number from the drop down.
  4. If there are no defects, simply click Submit in the left hand navigation. The No Defects - Satisfactory box is automatically populated.
  5. If there are defects, uncheck the No Defects - Satisfactory box. A list of common tractor parts will appear. Click the area(s) relevant to the defect.
  6. To add a customized remark click on the Remarks tab in the left navigation. Enter remark in the box provided for the mechanic to review. 
  7. Click Submit in the left navigation to send the post-trip inspection to Encompass. 

Post-Trip Vehicle INspection (DVIR)

  1. Click the Vehicle Inspection icon on the home screen.
  2. Click on New Post-Trip Inspection.
  3. If the driver is successfully connected to the ELD, the tractor number will automatically be populated. To change the tractor number click on the Change Tractor tab in the left navigation. Select the correct tractor number from the drop down.
  4. If there are no defects, simply click Submit in the left hand navigation. The No Defects - Satisfactory box is automatically populated.
  5. If there are defects, uncheck the No Defects - Satisfactory box. A list of common tractor parts will appear. Click the area(s) relevant to the defect.
  6. To add a customized remark click on the Remarks tab in the left navigation. Enter remark in the box provided for the mechanic to review. 
  7. Click Submit in the left navigation to send the post-trip inspection to Encompass. 

Review Vehicle Inspection (DVIR)

  1. Click on Review Previous Inspection.
  2. If repairs have been made, the Corrections Made line will indicate Yes and provide who made the correction (Certified By) and when (Certified On).
  3. After inspecting and validating the correction was made, click Certify and Submit in the left navigation. This completes the tractor Pre-Trip Inspection.
  4. To review a trailer inspection click on Switch to Trailer in the left navigation.  
  5. Enter the Trailer Number.Click Download in the left navigation. 
  6. If repairs have been made, the Corrections Made line will indicate Yes and provide who made the correction (Certified By) and when (Certified On).
  7. After inspecting and validating the correction was made, click Certify and Submit in the left navigation. This completes the trailer inspection.

Trailer Inspection (DVIR)

Creating a trailer inspection is a simple process in KellerMobile.

  1. Click the Vehicle Inspection icon on the home screen.
  2. Click on New Trailer Inspection.
  3. Enter the Trailer Number.
  4. If there are no defects, simply click Submit in the left hand navigation. The No Defects - Satisfactory box is automatically populated.
  5. If there are defects, uncheck the No Defects - Satisfactory box. A list of common trailer parts will appear. Click the area(s) relevant to the defect.
  6. To add a customized remark click on the Remarks tab in the left navigation. Enter remark in the box provided for the mechanic to review. 
  7. Click Submit in the left navigation to send the post-trip inspection to Encompass.
