AOBRD Solution, Users - Create KellerMobile™ Users

KellerMobile™ users actually start as driver records in the system.  This is how the log data is associated with the record.

Steps to Add a KellerMobile™ User

Method 1:  When you only need to add 1 KellerMobile™ user

  1. First, make sure the driver record is in the system.  To add a driver, see this article.
  2. Once drivers have been added, go up to Setup

  3. Locate and click on "Mobile User Logins" (under J. J. Keller Mobile® Settings)

  7. SAVE
  8. View Success Message

See where driver now show up on the list.

Method 2:  When you have multiple KellerMobile™ users to add

  1. Like above, make sure the driver record is in the system.  To add a driver, see this article.
  2. Once drivers have been added, go up to Setup

  3. Locate and click on "Mobile User Logins - Add Multiple" (under J. J. Keller Mobile® Settings)
  4. You'll see a parameter screen.  You can filter by any of the following:

    • Company Level (Location)
    • Job Class
    • Employment Status
    • Employee
  5. Set your parameters and click "Get List."  If you leave the parameters at the defaults, you'll get all driver records (active) that don't have KellerMobile™ user account.

This example:  Filter by drivers with driver codes "Driver 1" to "Driver 3" that aren't already KellerMobile™ users.
  6. A listing of drivers appears with some additional settings above it

  7. Determine what values you'd like your driver to log in with -- i.e., Employee Code, First Name initial and Last Name (FLastName), OR First Name Last Name (FirstNameLastName)
  8. Select drivers by checking the checkboxes next to their names on the listing

So in this example, two new drivers will become KellerMobile™ users where the user name and password will be their driver codes.
  9. SAVE
  10. View Success Message

LOG IN PREFERENCE:  We've found lots of customers choose the Employee Code for KellerMobile™ driver login credentials.  Why?  It's usually shorter than the other two options.  Since most drivers have small devices with small keyboards, the shorter the username and password, the more likely they won't mistype.

What Next?

You'll need to communicate this information to the driver.  There isn't an automatic "Welcome to J. J. Keller Mobile" message that gets sent to them.
